Use of Wise for Transfers: All financial transactions on our crowdfunding platform are processed using Wise (formerly TransferWise), a secure and reliable payment processing service. By using our platform, you agree to comply with Wise’s terms of service and privacy policy.
Platform Fees: Our platform charges a fee of 5% on all funds raised through successful campaigns. This fee is deducted from the total amount raised before the remaining funds are transferred to the campaign creator’s Wise account. The platform fee covers the costs of operating and maintaining the crowdfunding platform, as well as providing support to campaign creators and contributors.
Transparency: We are committed to maintaining transparency in all our transactions. The 5% platform fee will be clearly displayed during the campaign creation process and on the campaign page. Campaign creators will receive a detailed breakdown of the funds raised, the platform fee, and the net amount transferred to their Wise account.
Refunds and Returns: In the event that a contributor is entitled to a refund or return under the Australian Consumer Law (e.g., due to a breach of consumer guarantees), we will work with the campaign creator to facilitate the refund process. Refunds will be processed through Wise, and the 5% platform fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Misleading or Deceptive Conduct: We do not tolerate misleading or deceptive conduct on our platform. Campaign creators are responsible for ensuring that all information provided about their campaigns, products, services, or causes is accurate and not misleading. We reserve the right to remove any campaigns that violate this policy and take appropriate action against the campaign creator.
Unfair Contract Terms: We strive to maintain fair and balanced contract terms for all users of our platform. If you believe that any of our terms are unfair or give us an unreasonable advantage, please contact us to discuss your concerns.
